ClassaAddmin brings school records, bus tracking and parent updates into one app built for schools in Ghana. Here's what it does and why we built it.
Running a school in Ghana means wearing many hats before 8 a.m. You are a head teacher, an accountant, a transport manager, a counsellor and, on some mornings, the person answering a worried parent's third phone call about why the bus is late.
Most schools manage all of this with a mix of exercise books, Excel sheets, WhatsApp groups and memory. It works, until it doesn't. A register goes missing. A fee payment is recorded twice. A parent hears about a cancelled trip from another parent instead of from the school.
We built ClassaAddmin to bring that scattered work into one place.

With ClassaAddmin, the driver's app shares the bus's location while it is on route. Parents open their app and see where the bus is, so they can be ready at the gate instead of standing by the roadside or calling the office.
We were careful about privacy here. The parent app follows the school bus. It does not share the parent's own location with the school or with the driver. Families get visibility without giving up their own.
For school heads, this means fewer anxious calls, calmer mornings and a transport service parents trust.
Teachers did not train for years to spend their evenings copying names between registers. ClassaAddmin aims to cut the repeated work: student records kept in one place, attendance taken once and available to everyone who needs it, and information that does not have to be re-entered every term.
